GLOCK WATCHES SWEEPSTAKE OFFICIAL RULES, DATA PROTECTION

 

 

1. THESE RULES ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. SOME SECTIONS ONLY APPLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES ITS TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS.

 

2. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKE.

 

3. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

 

4. SPONSOR: Sweepstakes Sponsor: GLOCK Precision, office@glock-presicion.com (“Sponsor”).

 

5. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Individuals become a participant (“Participant”) in the Sweepstake by following the steps in the posting text posted by the sponsor on @glockwatches. Responses must be submitted by Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 11:59 PM CET on @glockwatches. By submitting a response to the Sweepstake, Participants agree to abide by the Official Rules of the Sweepstake and to receive Sweepstake communications from the Sponsor.

Automated Entries will result in disqualification. All Entries must comply with Instagram Terms of Service, rules and guidelines.

ONE ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE DURATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKE. Entries have no value and an Entry does not entitle a Participant to any compensation of any type or kind. If a Participant chooses to use a mobile device to submit an Entry, then depending on the carrier, charges may apply.

 

6. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZE: The prize consists of Two (2) GLOCK watches, which will go to One (1) winner.The Prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for another prize by the winner. The Sweepstakes Sponsor reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value, at their discretion. The Winner is responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local income and any other taxes, fees and surcharges.

 

7. SWEEPSTAKE WINNER: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries. The Sweepstakes winner will be selected by a random drawing from all qualified Entries received by the Deadline. Winner selection shall take place after the Deadline on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 11:59 PM CET on @glockwatches. Winner selection will be made by Sweepstakes Sponsor, whose decision shall be final and announced on the Instagram account @glockwatches. The winner will be notified by social network message on Monday, August 12, 2024. The Winner's username will be announced on the Instagram account @glockwatches on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 12:00 AM CET. The winner expressly agree to the publication of their username by taking part in the Sweepstake. Sweepstakes Sponsor reserve the right to determine the method of notification. If a winner does not respond within two (2) business days and provide appropriate contact information for shipping his/her prize, an alternate winner will be selected by a random drawing from the remaining qualified Entries.

 

8. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The GLOCK watches sweepstake (the “Sweepstake”) begins Monday, July 01, 2024 and ends Sunday, August 11, 2024 at 12:00 AM CET (the “Program Period”). The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Sweepstake will be when the Entry is received by the applicable server. Entries submitted close to the Deadline may not be timely received. No responsibility is assumed by Sweepstakes Sponsor for lost, late, misdirected, or illegible Entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address or social network account by an Internet Access provider, online service provider, or social network platform.

All Entries must be submitted with a valid Instagram account that may be identified with a natural person by appropriate independent means. Potential winner may be requested to provide the Sweepstakes Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder associated with the winning Entry.

 

9. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes Participants must be at time of participation 18 years of age or older.

 

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS: This Program is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants release Sponsor from any and all liability for any injury, death, loss, tax liabilityor damage of any kind arising from entrant’s participation in this Program. PARTICIPANT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT IN NO EVENT WILL THE SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, STATUTORY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR USE OF ANY PRIZE. Without limiting the foregoing, the prize is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Acceptance of reward shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor may use his/her name, address (city and state only), prize information, and/or likeness for promotional purposes in any media now existing orhereinafter devised without additional compensation, where legal. (Tennessee residents need not consent to, or sign any, publicity release.) Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from this Sweepstake. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) disqualify from this or any program it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, in its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these Official Rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of this Sweepstakes or,or any other aspect of this Sweepstake; (ii) modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstake in the event it becomes infected by a computer virus or is otherwise technically impaired; and (iii) cancelor suspend this Sweepstake in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper operation of the Program.

Except where prohibited, by participating, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstake, or any reward awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively under the laws of Austria and by the Klagenfurt regional court in Klagenfurt, Austria ; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Sweepstake but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrants be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrants hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive damages, incidental damages, consequential damages or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

 

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROGRAM MAY BE A VIOLATION OFCRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANTOR INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING SEEKING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
